Rating: R
Genre(s): General
Pairing(s): Lucci/Paulie, Paulie/OC
Summary: Paulie seems to have three constants in his life: Ships, cats, and killers. He doesn't seem to be able to rid himself of any of them. Or the World Government either for that matter.
Prompt: 6. Hours
Beta:
Warnings: Okay there are a couple of original characters in this, one being the tiger Blackjack, the other is a woman named Iria that acts like a demented sister to Paulie. There will be no Paulie/Iria.
Disclaimer: Checks reality meter (It's remarkably Magic Eight Ball shaped). Do I own One Piece? Nope still the right reality. Go eat a tuna sandwich instead. Damn.
Author's Note: I've decided to try and do a 100 Prompts thingy. It seems like a good way to jump around with this thing. They're Paulie centric, with the occasional Lucci/Paulie ones depending on placement.

Everyone Wants Paulie
Paulie sighed boredly as he looked out over the party celebrating the reopening of Enies Lobby after its destruction three years previous. He had arrived a month ago to allegedly exchange ship building techniques with the Marines here. In actuality he was a hostage against Iceberg, and by extension Water Seven, for the next year.
He supposed that he should do as Iria suggested, and just be thankful that it was only for the next year, and not indefinitely. The only thing that kept it that way, was that the World Government wanted something very specific from them. It grated, but was necessary.
Taking another sip of his, admittedly good, brandy, Paulie's eyes drifted over to where Iria was talking with one of the Marines. It was always odd, even after two years, to see her so reined in when necessary. Seeing that Iria wasn't going to do anything interesting for once, his eyes roamed the garden again.
"Not very interesting, is it?" an amused voice asked from his right.
Turning to face the speaker he gave a sardonic smile. "Sorry, not really my thing."
"Interesting accent. Don't think I've ever heard it before."
"Water Seven's pretty isolated, especially more than thirteen years ago." Holding out his hand, Paulie introduced himself. "I'm Paulie, Vice President of Galley-la shipyards."
"Ah, the famous Galley-la. I've heard of the work you do. I am Andrew Dubois, pleased to meet you."
Iria frowned, and looked through the guests for Paulie. Sighting a familiar figure, one who should at least give her some sort of lead, she threaded through the crowd and gave the black-clad CP9 agent a bland look.
"Do you need something?" Kaku asked, breaking the silence of her contemplative stare.
"Have you seen Paulie anywhere in the last hour?" Iria asked.
Turning the question over in his head for a minute, he shook his head. "No. Is something wrong?"
Turning her eyes over the room over Kaku's shoulder she frowned. "Can you keep an eye out?"
"Problem?"
"It's Paulie."
"Point."
Iria scowled darkly as she unlocked the manacles holding Paulie. Of all the... "Only you, Paulie!" she snarled.
Lucci chuckled darkly from where he stood on the other side of the bed, looking over at the man that Blackjack had dragged across the room, away from the bed. He had to admit, if only to himself, that he was impressed with the tiger's speed and control. She hadn't even drawn blood when she pounced and pulled the man off Paulie then dragged him away with her teeth clamped into his neck and shoulder.
"Oh, like I wanted to be drugged and raped!" Paulie snapped, raising his head to give Iria a glassy glare.
Lucci's sharp, trained eyes caught the barely noticeable stiffening of the scarred woman's posture, though the only indication she gave Paulie was a snapped, "Drugged?"
"I wouldn't be this turned on if I wasn't," Paulie snapped back. "He isn't even my type, woman, and you know it! Not to mention this isn't really my scene."
Iria snorted, and grabbed the blond man's jaw. She gave him a stern, searching look before turning to where Kaku was going through the assailant's belongs. "Did you find it?"
"He's got a good collection here," Kaku commented, holding up a bottle for closer inspection. "Several of which are aphrodisiacs."
"Hn..." Grunting in disgust, Iria stepped back from the bed. "You okay for a few?"
"Yeah. Just no blood, okay?" Paulie grumbled, as he flopped onto his side panting slightly.
"I don't think that'll be a problem." Iria stalked silently over to Blackjack and crouched down. "I have a couple of questions for you."
Jackie stalked between a still seething Iria, and a bemused Kaku away from the police station that they had just left Andrew Dubois at.
"How long do you think they can hold him like that?" Iria asked, thoughtful.
"Depends." Kaku turned his eyes to her briefly.
"You want to know why I let Lucci take Paulie?" Iria murmured.
"If it's no bother."
Iria snorted before answering wryly, "I love Paulie, really, I do. However, it's like I would a brother. So I'm not going to sleep with him when there are more willing victims in the room."
"Victims?" Kaku couldn't help being amused at someone - who knew what Lucci was - describing him as such.
"Maybe I should correct that to say, I love Paulie as I would a particularly obnoxious brother." Iria gave him an amused look. "Besides, Paulie's safe enough from Lucci for the next eleven months."
"You're an unusual woman."
"Insane, too."
Paulie leaned his forehead against the blessedly cool wall and tried to just not do anything. "Who would be dumb enough to try and rob you?"
"Someone about to die," Lucci's voice rumbled from next to the blond.
"Of course," Paulie muttered, only to jump when Lucci laid a possessive hand on his arm and led him into the house. "You seem pretty eager to 'help'."
"Eager?" Lucci's voice rolled over Paulie, making the drugged man shiver.
"For you," Paulie grumbled, trying to hide the reaction.
"You still believe you know me?"
Paulie gave the black- clad man a wide- eyed look. "You mean you're not an emotionless bastard, with all of the emotive displays of a weathered statue?"
Lucci snorted, "'Emotive displays'? Big words."
Paulie laughed darkly as he collapsed against the agent. "Let's just get started."
"Pushy," was the drawled reply, though he was drawn down the hall.
"I'm a hostage, drugged, horny, and actually considered having sex with Iria. Instead I'm going to be having sex with you. I'm not pushy, I'm freaked out."
"How flattering."
Paulie sat down on the bed and pulled off the shirt and jacket he had been wearing. "I'm supposed to be flattering? To you?"
Lucci laughed darkly as he swiftly and efficiently stripped along with the minimally dressed blond on his bed. "So cruel."
"Cruel. Right." Paulie paused and looked over at Hattori, who had fluttered over to a waiting stand. "Get rid of the damn bird. This is bad enough."
